Rep. Jerry McNerney, D-Pleasanton, has openings in each of his
district offices for congressional interns who want to become
engaged in the civics process and get first-hand experience in the
daily operations of a congressional office.
College and post-graduate students are encouraged to apply, and
high school students will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
All internships are unpaid and are designed to provide the student
with educational and professional experience. McNerney’s office
will partner with institutions that offer academic credit for
internships.
